The workshop will be held in the Kristen Nygaard building on the main campus of the University of Oslo.
Airports
The closest airport to Oslo is Oslo Gardermoen. In order to get to the city center you can take the Airport express train or the regional trains. When you get out of baggage claim head right and follow the signs to the trains. Disembark at Oslo central station for connections to all forms of public transit (see below).
Alternatively, Torp Sandefjord airport is approximately 110km away from Oslo. If your flight arrives here, you can take the train or bus (website only in Norwegian) to Oslo.
Metro (T-bane)
From Jernbanetorget (Oslo Central Station) you can take the westbound line 4 (Vestli) or line 5 (Ringen via Storo or Sognsvann). Disembark at Forskningsparken station. See ruter.no for more information. From the station in Ullevål Stadion you can take the eastbound lines 4 (Bergkrystallen), 5 (Ringen via Majorstuen or Vestli via Majorstuen). Tram (trikk)
Line 17 or 18 from the Jernbanetorget (Oslo Central Station) or Stortorvet (by Glassmagasinet) direction to Rikshospitalet. Disembark at Forskningsparken stop. See ruter.no for more information.
Bus
Line 23 between Lysaker and Simensbråten (Ekeberg) stops at Ringveien. Disembark at Gaustad (in Store Ringvei). See ruter.no for more information.
Car
Turn off Store Ringvei by the exit towards the Rikshospitalet, (Oslo University Hospital). Arrival from the west: turn left in the first and the second roundabout. Drive uphill and take the first exit to the left. You are now in Gaustadalleén, and Ole-Johan Dahls Building is on your lefthand side, approximately 500 metres further down the road. Arrival from the east: follow the second exit after the Tåsen tunnel. Follow the second exit from the roundabout (slightly to the left). Drive uphill and take the first exit to the left. You are now in Gaustadalleén, and Ole-Johan Dahls Building is on your lefthand side, approximately 500 metres further down the road.
Train (tog)
If you travel by train (NSB), Oslo Central Station disembark at Oslo Central station (Oslo Sentralstasjon / Oslo S). Then switch to the metro or tram to get to the venue. Please visit NSB for further information about train departures. NSB is cheaper than Flytoget, but not as frequent.
